Weddingbee Favorites

October 19th, 2007 @ 6:27 pm by Mrs. Bee

Hi everyone!  Hope you’re having a fantastic Friday!

I did an interview earlier today and they asked for some photos of cool things that have been featured on weddingbee.  I’m pulling together some images for them, and I could really use your help.

Can you guys share some of your favorite projects, pictures, ideas and posts that have been featured on weddingbee to date?  I’d love to get your feedback, and it’s just too hard for me to decide! :)

Hhhmm this is really really hard. Two images that came to mind right away for me when I thought about the pictures - Mrs. Ant taking her nap before her wedding (i know that’s random but I loved her wedding so any pic from it would be good) and Mrs. Plumeria in the Target Cart.

I also think Mrs. Bluebell’s wedding was one of my all time favorites and had a lot of warm touches and seemed so loving and atypical so any photo from there.

As far as ideas and projects…too many to decide…I’ll have to mull it over.

I loved Miss. Eggplants post about her online RSVP system that her brother-in-law helped her create!

8.
Mrs. Strawberry says:

Miss Gummibear’s DIY project. Just pick one! :)

Mrs. Snowpea’s playbill! It was a great way of incorporating NYC!

Mrs. Lemon’s invitations!

Mrs. Emerald’s flip flop idea!

Everyone’s OOT bags!

All the bees have been such an inspiration for the rest of us!

The first thing that pops in my head is Miss Cherry blossom’s (I’m so sorry if I’m wrong) post about how to etch glass.

Everything that Miss Lollipop did–ooh the penguins, and her diy engagement photos. Same with Miss Lemon - particularly her bridesmaids shirts.

I also really enjoyed more personal posts, especially Miss Tomato’s “Hard Love” post.

15.
J says:

I LOVED Mrs. Lemon’s post about her Flickr account. I totally copied that, and it’s been great!

And also the reviews about albums. So helpful.

MissBlushing says:

Mrs. Hibiscus’ photo booth, video and first dance (I seriously cried listening to their song with their interview clips worked in — B E A U T I F U L ).

Pretty much everything about Mrs. Bell Pepper’s wedding.

Mrs. Gummi Bear’s save-the-dates and invitations.

Mrs. Strawberry’s shabby chic decor.

18.
MissBlushing says:

Oh, and Miss Lovebug’s post about separating herself from her biological family and henceforth making the decision to walk down the aisle alone was truly inspiring. It made me proud to “know” her (even though I don’t!). The posts that go deeper than the on-the-surface wedding issues are what make me truly treasure being a part of this wedding community.

*oy* this is so hard! i would probably say to submit the WHOLE BLOG if you could. but anything from

Mrs. Caterpillar and Mrs GummiBear’s wedding. and Mrs ANT’s Photo Album List, and all pictures from her wedding. especially the one when she’s taking a nap or in the pool with everybody.

21.
ocicats says:

Definitely Mrs. Ant’s beautiful Jamaican wedding photos. And Mrs. Bluebell’s post about the DMV.

22.
Mary says:

The giant poster save-the-dates (I don’t remember which bee-blogger is responsible for these, but I think it was one of the bugs)
and any GOCCO project. It’s the totally creative DIY projects that make weddingbee such a great site.

23.
smartl says:

Whoops okay so apparently both my comments did eventually go through. My bad!

24.
M&M says:

EVERYTHING DIY!!! One that comes to mind is Mrs. Plumeria’s invites and menu cards. Oh, and Mrs. Emerald’s invites and suggestions for vendors in creating these affordable goodies! … and so many from the original bee’s…. it’s been so long now that I can’t remember all of the posts, but all have been so helpful! I also like the budget posts in getting a sense of how much weddings/vendors go for nowadays in REAL wedding terms.

25.
Leah says:

i loved mrs. plumeria’s ‘C is for Cookie’ post! omg, i can still remember the exact title, it was THAT good.

26.
ocicats says:

I also LOVED Mrs. BOP’s invites. My favorite out of all the bees.
