A girlfriend of mine is getting married this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited to witness this amazing event and co-coordinate her big day with her sister and BIL. (I’ve gotten her permission to post pics of the event afterwards, so stay tuned for those - her venue is absolutely GORGEOUS!)
Rehearsals were this past weekend and additions were added since then. To ensure that everyone is on the same page with the newest additions and to reiterate the rehearsal, I’ve created the following visual (using Powerpoint) for her and her wedding party - it beats reading a sheet of names lined in a column and made it a bit more fun.

1.) Here we are at the start of the ceremony. This visual helps not only me, who will be directing the procession, but the whole wedding party to know exactly where to line up and exactly at which position.

2.) Next we move on to Bride’s Entrance. It shows how the wedding party should be positioned after they’ve all descended down the stairs, the parents have been seated, and the groom is waiting for his bride to make her entrance with her father.

3.) And last is the position the whole wedding party will be in when the couple begins to exchange their vows during the ceremony.

You’ll bet that I will have a similar visual (among many other visuals) for my wedding party prior to our rehearsal. I find this extremely helpful to have beforehand to share with our wedding party, as to prepare them of our plans for the ceremony and to maximize the amount of time we have to rehearse.
How and/or what extra steps did you take to prepare for a smooth rehearsal?
