Coverage

October 26th, 2007 @ 4:23 pm by Mrs. Canary

I am very sleepy today. It always happens on Fridays… a week of staying up to read or surf for internet finds just catches up to me. So how fitting is it that I discover these lovely eye quilts from Hambone and Jennicakes? It gave me a chuckle to kick start a typical cold and cloudy October Friday. They would make fantastic bridesmaids gifts… in fact, I already know that two of my ex party girl bridesmaids would love these.

I might need this the day after the wedding!

This one would be a great shower gift.

No words necessary.

Very cute! Although honestly, I think I had only a glass or two of WHITE wine during the wedding and maybe a sip of champagne. I thought I’d get plastered, but i didn’t have time to drink.

hehehe…”sod off”

I haven’t heard that in the States in a while.

Has anyone had experience wearing one of these things? I’ve always seen them in old movies, but I don’t know of anyone who actually has one.

Angel: I hate to admit it, but I do use them! I travel often for work and I can not sleep unless it is pitch dark. So on planes (or trains, and buses) I definitely have used them. Yes, I’m that person! But I don’t think I can get away with one that says “Sod Off” on the plane… though I desperately want it!

Miss Canary, cool! Was it hard to get used to having something on your face? I have to have it pitch dark too, but I’m not sure about having something on my face while I sleep.

Angel: It’s not so bad once you get used to it. I was usually on long international flights, so I got so pooped I could probably sleep through anything, let alone a thingie on my face. To be honest, they usually fall off in the middle of the night with tossing and turning. But a fun little gift regardless. :)

O-M-G! Sooo friggin cute! And now I have another blog journal thing to be addicted to. I think I’ll try a stab at making 1 for myself. cos’ this bride-to-be needs to save some moola. but I can think of at least one gal pal each of the eye masks could go towards. I could be a few of them myself!
And Angel, yes, I too wear these when I can’t sleep. I think it helps and doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all.
