Okay here’s my last batch of photos from the reception! I always thought reception pictures were boring, but these came out great!

Renting lights was the best decision ever! It’s totally worth it, and it gives your photographer more to work with as far as creativity.

Father Daughter dance

Here’s our adorable cake! Only the tiny top layer is real and the bottom is fake. I would give out my bakery info but they closed down two weeks after our wedding! Too bad because they were an adorable little bakery (Bees Knees) in Pasadena and I really wanted to give them credit. They did a fantastic job with our small budget for the cake.

Our cake toppers are from claymyfigure.com. They came okay - they don’t really look like us but I still wanted to get them personalized!

The fruit/pound cake fondue was a hit! We decided to not give everyone cake (because it’s pricey and there’s almost always tons left over) and got the fondue that the hotel provided. It was delicious!

It really paid off to have a few fun props (goofy glasses, pom poms, etc) for our guests to play with during the dance portion of the night. I got my poms online for only $1.50 each! You should be able to find them at any party or costume store. I had them for my bouquet toss since I played “Holla Back” by Gwen Stefani, but they lasted all night!

My college dance team performed for us! It was so awesome to see them choreograph a special dance that was dedicated especially to us. (some parts were really silly— hence the coconut boobies and the guy in the skirt)

And some of my favorites for last… I seriously loved my dress! I wish I could wear it again… maybe next year I’ll be a bride for Halloween!
