You Don’t Bring Me Flowers…

Unless you’re Mr. Daisy, and then you do!

(excuse the poor quality photos a la Blackberry).

Yes, happy almost-anniversary to the Daisies! In honor of our first year of wedded bliss, Mr. Daisy sent me flowers to work. Our actual anniversary is Sunday, but you gotta love a guy who gets the “flowers at work” appeal. I love flowers at home, don’t get me wrong, but there’s just something extra-exciting about a special delivery at the office.

Am I crazy in this or is this a universal girl thing?

very sweet and thoughtful of him! happy almost anniversary. and yeah, it’s a girl thing. what girl wouldn’t love to share her excitement with everyone she works with?

Hahaha. I feel the same way. I love getting flowers at work! I think it’s just the unexpectedness of the whole thing. I like them at work more anyway because it seems like I’m at work far longer than at home.

I loved getting flowers at work! He did that for the first time last Valentines day. He gets me flowers as a suprise at home, but I agree flowers at work are just a little more exciting. Maybe because it breaks up your regularly scheduled day or maybe because you get to feel a little like a celebrity since everyone is bound to ask…oooh, who got you the flowers?

Happy almost one year!

Love getting flowers at work! Hubby manages to surprise me with ‘em at least twice a year. Our secretary thinks I have him well trained, but I really have no clue when inspiration hits him to have flowers sent over.

I’ll ditto the flowers at work - even though I only have two coworkers - and they are both guys!

Too bad it’s only happened once - and I just need to be grateful for that one time, cause I highly doubt it will happen again!

(I’ve been known to cut tulips from my own garden and bring them to work for me to enjoy :) They are too pretty to just sit in my yard all day long!)

ok, good! i am so glad you girls are on similar pages. part of me is like, it’s lame to adore “publicity” flowers so much. but i do!!

thanks for the pre-anniversary wishes too! i am excited for the weekend and to eat some of that year-old cake. delish…!

you’ll have to blog about the storage and taste of your top tier!

Mrs. Daisy says:

Fran, i so will–with much trepidation as we were kinda-sorta lazy about storing it all that well. (one of those post-wedding exhausted decisions that i’m coming to regret just a wee bit now as the actual eating is on the horizon).
