Tea For 8 - The Bay Area Bees Meet

November 19th, 2007 @ 12:59 pm by Mrs. Cherry Blossom

This past weekend, the Bay Area bees came together to meet over tea at LoveJoy’s Tea Room. Here are a few pictures from our gathering. Several of us had met before, but it was super splendid to get ALL of the bees in the Bay Area together, to mingle and chat it up. It took a bit getting used to calling each other (and the misters) by our first names because I know several times I caught myself wanting to call them by their icons. laughin070

We shared 4 pots of different types of teas all served in mismatched cups and saucers and super cute tea pots.

We elected to get the Queen’s Tea which included tea sandwiches (each of us chose two flavors), salad, crumpets, scones, fresh fruit, and lastly the petit fours which I didn’t get a picture of.

We had more than enough food to go around, enough for the ladies to pack some home for the misters. happy053

Around the table the camera went to snap pictures of all the ladies (and let me tell you, they are just as fabulously cute in person as they are in pictures and everyone is super nice.) I found myself staring in a daze a lot of times because it was the best weird experience to come together and meet those bees whose experiences I’d read even before I became a bee.
