A Fair Engagement

November 20th, 2007 @ 2:19 pm by Mrs. Petunia

Inspired by Mrs. Radish’s post back in September, where she showcased this amazing picture originally posted on her photographer’s blog…

…and also by this beautiful shot from our own wedding photographer, Ricardo Serpa…

carniva

Mr. Petunia and I decided to have our engagement pictures taken at the Broward County Fair! After all, we’re the couple who loves all things game-y, right, so what better place than a carnival midway?

I can’t wait to see what shots we get tomorrow evening (and what yummy food we get to enjoy!).

Promise to post some of the shots as soon as we get our sticky caramel apple hands on them!

I love the sun behind the ferris wheel…how beautiful. Makes me want to hire a photogapher just to go with us to the fair next year!

One thing I’ve noticed about photographers doing e-shoots in different places is that we’re seeing more and more professional photos of things and places that normally aren’t noticed.

What a great idea, and it seems like it’ll fit in with your personality and wedding theme so well. I’m sure you’ll get some great pictures!

A girl from the Atlanta knot board took her pictures at a county fair! If you want to look at some pics to get ideas, her knot name is gwinnettbride.
