About Miss Gardenia

I Love Love Pretty Invites!!!

November 20th, 2007 @ 4:54 pm by Mrs. Gardenia

For the past couple of days, I know that my very creative DIY MOH/sister has been busy with a certain project, but I couldn’t figure out what it was until yesterday morning. I woke up to my bridal shower invitation sitting on my dresser, which got me so excited! Lately I’ve been constantly stressing out with the wedding that it’s hard to keep my head screwed on, but I try to manage with the help of some of important people. Looking forward to the bachelorette day and bridal shower has really kept my spirits up, so I was so excited to wake up to my shower invite.

Every detail on the invite was hand crafted by my MOH/sister. I’m so proud of her!!!

Here’s what the guests received (with a slight deviation..)

Can you ask your sister for some of the info on the supplies? Especially the flower–did she use a stamp to get that design? Thanks! They’re so beautiful.

LOVE them! She did a wonderful job. Do you know which pocketfold she used in order to the ribbon threaded through the cards? I would love this idea for my invites!!

Thanks ladies for the wonderful comments. Sister/MOH Gardenia will be so happy to hear all of your comments. Here are some details:

Supplies including the paper and floral stamp were purchased from Paper Source (of course!). She used the cover stock paper to make the pocket folder, the slits were done manually/by hand. The paper for the envelope liners were wrapping paper from Container Store. The Save this Date stamp, embossing powder and yellow ribbon were from Michael’s.

I’m convincing her to share the directions with everyone so hopefully I’ll get those to everyone soon.

These inspired me to get stamps from Paper-Source last week. I got the colonial ones for my invites. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, that is amazing! I love the map/directions card, too. SO professional! I would love to know her secrets on that because our event is in a confusing area. It would be so helpful!

Are the envelopes the curry color? I’m looking for a bright yellow as well, but on the website curry looks more like a mustard.
