Our photographer, Alberto from Duet Wedding did a wonderful job at our wedding. His team not only took a ton of great photos, many were taken without my noticing! Mr. Violet & I both agree that Duet earns an A (despite being a laid back bride, I can be quite critical sometimes so I didn’t give Duet an A+ because I believe there’s always room for improvement). We received a box loaded with proofs, along with a CD of full resolution originals & edited photos.
Many have asked me when was I planning to put my prints in an album, but there are so many that I don’t know where to begin! Besides, a professional album is included in our package anyway, so there is no rush to take the prints out of the box. I always knew that I’d want to scrapbook some of my favorite photos, so I decided to use some those prints for this purpose. I’m not sure if it’s a really good idea but I figured it’s already there and I won’t need to reprint so why not?
I bought this toploading scrapbook album many months ago (I think even as early as last year). I love toploading albums. You can move your scrap pages around so easily. By the way, the couple in the photo below is not us. It came with the book and I just need to find the perfect picture to replace it with.

And the second..
When our rings were presented, Pastor April recited these words to us and I really love the meaning of it.
“The Circle is a perfect figure, without beginning, without end, with no area of weakness. It is a symbol of the Cycle of Life, of birth, death, and rebirth. This shall serve as a physical reminder of your vow, and that all things begin and end and begin anew. When you are engulfed in anger or in sadness, look to your hand and these rings shall serve to remind you that life goes on, that moments pass, yet your love is constant. When life brings you its greatest joys look then to your hand as well, and remember that the Wheel turns forever onward, and it is love that turns the Wheel.”
That’s all I have so far. Even though I craft almost daily, I’m really slow to scrapbook.
What have you done with your photo prints?
ooooh, i like what you’ve done so far! will you be sharing the rest? i hope so. i’ve never had the patience to scrapbook so i like to live vicariously through others.
and that passage pastor amy said…wow. that was amazing. i may have to print that out myself.
