Our Trash The Dress Session On The Beach

Hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving. We certainly did! We did the same routine that we’ve done in the last few years; have Thanksgiving lunch with his family then off to dinner with mine. Yes we have two full Thanksgiving meals in one day! Of course, as much as I tried not to, I still ended up stuffing myself silly!
Now that Thanksgiving is over, I’m ready for my honeymoon! Actually, I’m leaving in 6 hours! Unfortunately I haven’t posted the reception or even the cocktail party pictures, but I thought I’d skip ahead to my trash the dress session for you all! I decided to do this after the wedding and I’m really glad we splurged. It was a really cloudy day at the beach but I love the effect it had on our photos.
Hope you enjoyed our photos thus far. I’m off on my Carribean Cruise! I’ll be back in a week!

how did you convince yourself to do the “trash the dress”? are you able to clean in and keep it? I would love to do it, and my photographer wants to do it as well, I just really want to keep my dress. Anyone know how taffeta holds up to water??? My idea is to go to one of our fav local vacation spots during the foliage season (which is when we WANTED to get married) to get some good pics in the waterfalls….but I can’t convince myself to do it!

ooohh so fun! what a great idea. i love how the bright colored dress pops against the fog and how romantic the pictures of you in your wedding dress in the water with mr. violet came out! you must be so excited.
