About Mrs. Peppermint

The Newest Peppermint…

November 28th, 2007 @ 11:48 am by Mrs. Peppermint

With the wedding right around the corner, packages are arriving almost daily (!) from our registry. It’s so much fun!

One of the most exciting ones was this beautiful, amazing, simply perfect espresso machine:

One of the reasons Mr. Peppermint was so excited (he really can’t get over it), is that it was one of those items we put on the registry on a whim. You know, the kind where you think, “yeah, right. No one is going to get this for us, but, hey, I can still dream!”.

The Peppermints welcome our newest addition with a hearty “bon appetit!”:

What silly, no-one-is-ever-going-to-get-you-this items did you put on your registry?? Did you get them??

We put furniture and stuff on ours, too, at the repeated suggestions of almost everyone that was on duty that day at C&B. No one has bought us the furniture (or art, OR rugs!) that we put on that registry. But we did dream about it happening for a little while!

The great thing is that we can go back and get some of those items in the spring when we have our new house and get the 10% discount on them that they offered us. It expires in April, so hopefully we’ll have a new place by then!

LOVE the espresso machine, though! So pretty and red and shiny…

We put a Dyson on our list, but no…didn’t get it. We were completely surprised to receive ALL 12 of our place settings from one person. That’s a lot of moola!

We got the ice cream maker first, and immediately started getting emails from friends complaining about “that [epithet] who bought the ice cream maker before I got around to it!”

A coffee table from Pottery Barn! It was the first wedding gift we received. We were floored.

Enjoy the espresso!

Ooh, we haven’t registered yet but I was going to put an espresso machine on our registry as my “dream” item. That’s so fantastic you got one as a gift! Enjoy it!

The Imperial Kitchenaid Mixer. We could not believe that someone actually bought it for us. Cannot wait to use it when making holiday cookies.

My fiance put the complete boxed series of Gilmore Girls. Yes, he is a die-hard fan. He’s also currently looking for the perfect 40+” T.V. on which to watch it for our registry.

We registered for really expensive luggage just for fun and we got all of it! It’s amazing how generous family and friends can be.

I CAN BEAT YOU ALL…My husband got so annoyed with all the picture frames that he added A MEAT SLICER ( an industrial deli slicer) to the registry assuming no one would buy it….turns out my own father bought it for us!
