Mrs. Kiwi's Picture
Mrs. Kiwi, Los Angeles Age and Occupation in 06: 27, Bookkeeper Fiance's Age and Occupation: 27, P.E. Teach/Coach @ private schools in LA Engagement Date: March 31, 2006 Wedding Date: November 3, 2007 Venue: Radisson Hotel About Me: I'm a bookkeeper who failed high school algebra. I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

Kiwi’s Getting Ready!

November 29th, 2007 @ 1:39 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Here are a few getting ready shots. My hair was in curlers for about 15 hours straight, which I must say isn’t the sexiest of looks. When my photographer and I went to the hotel bar to get a drink the night before the wedding, I looked like such a freak with my rollers, “Bride” tank, pj bottoms and lamb slippers.

Here are my clothes before the wedding.

In the middle of my makeup, my hair person came to pick me up. All of a sudden she realized she could do my hair at the hotel instead of her salon. So, we did!

Your makeup really is fantastic, and I love that the inhaler was included in the photos. What a cute detail!

Wonderful pictures!! Weddingbee has made me realize how much I love these “getting ready” pictures - they tell such a fun part of the story of the wedding day! You have such a beautiful smile, Mrs. Kiwi, especially in the “Mom’s help” picture.
