Teal… Blue or Green?

December 3rd, 2007 @ 3:49 pm by Mrs. Robin

This is only a burning question because I am wondering if these could be my “something blue.” Or do they only count as my something bluegreen?

These are not the exact sandals I have chosen, but the color and feel is the same. The style I purchased has a little more vintage styling, but I can’t seem to find a picture and my digital camera is lost forever in Mexico.

They are Chie Miharas. Let me pause and sigh dreamily. I always knew going into this that I wanted colored shoes, especially after I decided to go white on the dress. I also knew that, budget allowing, I would like to buy dream shoes. The type of shoes that I drool and sigh over, but can never justify purchasing. Shoes made of real leather, hand-dyed, and wonderfully designed.

Don’t look up how much Chie Mivara’s are… please. My practical bargain hunter soul is still a little bit in denial. But I could never let them go once I saw them.

My only concern is a little embarrassing. Mr. Robin and I are only a few inches apart in height and I am tall for a woman. I don’t want to be taller - I know it isn’t modern or feminist, but it’s the truth .

Don’t fret about the price, it’s ok I was looking at Christian Louboutin shoes today, and thinking… just this once I could buy myseflt some couture shoes.. as long as I can wear them again, right ? Alas I have a photo of the ones I desire… but no idea where to buy as there is no style name to accopmany the photo of them. =( these http://www.ryanphillips.com/blog/?p=33
are what I pine after… if only I knew the style name to search for places to purchse the precious red soled goodness..

Don’t fret about the price either. I am pining for a pair of Christian Louboutins that are prolly VERY pricey, but cant’ even search for them because I only have a photo, not a style name or anything, I don’t even know waht season they are from ! == sigh == (if your curious a pic of the shoes I pine for is here http://www.ryanphillips.com/blog/?p=33)

I feel the same way! We are only about 2 inches apart and I hate the thought of being taller than him in our pictures! Whatever you decide though, I’m sure no one will really notice but you :).

They are definitely more blue-green than green-blue. But honestly…where what you want to wear ;)
