A few weeks ago, Mr. Toucan and I wandered around the streets of Boston’s North End during our engagement photo session with our photographer, Robert Mirani. I’m not sure what possessed us to take pictures in 30 degree weather (brr!), but now that we have our photos, I think the cold was well worth it! Plus, the cold gave us a great excuse to huddle really close together!

(I’ve got my love to keep me warm)
The North End ended up being a really great location for us to take photos because it provided us with lots of different backdrops and atmospheres.
We had some great urban looking photos in front of graffiti walls, like this:
In stark contrast to pictures in the park, like this:

To be honest, Mr. Toucan and I were both really nervous about having our picture taken. We thought it would be really awkward, and we didn’t know what to expect. After a few clicks of the camera, we were much more at ease and had a great time. And even better, we finally have some great photos of us! Here are some of the rest of my faves:

Now that I have all these photos, what should I do with them? We don’t have a lot of recent pictures of us, so we plan to definitely get some prints to frame. Any other interesting ideas? I want to these to get as much use as possible (but, without plastering my face everywhere).
