Let me tell you a very wonderful thing to look forward to – the feeling of walking out of your reception to the elevator, and then to your bridal suite. I was SO happy and relieved and felt amazingly refreshed knowing that all the nerve-wracking things were done. EVERYTHING IS DONE! All that was left was luxurious living (for a couple of days only), our honeymoon, constant celebrating and pigging out! I was SUPER excited about pigging out because everyone knows that dieting is nooooo fun!
Here are some pictures of what our room looked like:

Our friends filled the room with all sorts of goodies that we LOVE! They knew my favorite brand of chocolate (Lindt all the way!), Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream, and even our favorite drinks! They bought this cheese and salami mix thing that apparently Mr. Caramel and his best man had fallen in love with somewhere in San Luis Obispo. Later we found out that the best man assigned one of the groomsmen the “project” of finding this particular brand especially for us. I thought the sentiment was so sweet!

and then, after we thought we’d seen it all…

We were quite surprised to see a pinata on our bed! There was also a broom and a note attached to the pony’s butt saying “Spank Me!” with directions and a picture example. Also, the cute little box was supposed to represent “A D*ck In a Box” which was an inside joke. However, neither of us got the joke until way later. We thought the box was supposed to be filled with little candies that came out of the pinata, and that for some reason there was a hole in the box.
Here’s the first thing we did:

So of course we tore that pinata apart! There were tons of our favorite candies and coupons for different stores and notes and money! We were overwhelmed!!!
The best thing of all… is that we felt so known and so loved. For all of you bridesmaids and groomsmen out there, these were some pretty fantastic ideas!
And of course.. Mr. Caramel had to carry me into our new home! (He really made me wait outside until the door was all the way open and the camera was set up). These were the first steps into our new home as man & wife!
