A few months ago I decided to make an inspiration board. By “I,” I mean I picked out photos and Mr. Peacock put it together in Photoshop. Thank goodness he is so talented with that because I was using Word. Here is what I came up with:
I was lucky enough to get it featured on Style Me Pretty, and I was thrilled to have something to take with me to florists and to keep in the back of my head while looking for dresses, invites, etc.
I loved it at the time, but I was having color issues and it impeded my ability to get it together. I thought about it every time I went on my favorite wedding sites and saw some amazing wedding using all burgundy or navy. I secretly love black, white and yellow but that doesn’t fit into my usual shabby chic tastes.
I decided to stick with this and bring out a little more yellow. It was all my favorite stuff- the Jennifer Behr hair pin, all the Martha Stewart inspiration, the soft and pretty letterpress.
Then in an attempt to find a little more yellow inspiration, Mr. Peacock helped me put together another inspiration board.

But I wasn’t sure the images flowed together the way I would like them to, and yet they are some of my favorites. Making this board also taught me that I need to do a better job noting where my images come from (if they aren’t from Martha)!
Finally Mr. Peacock helped me finish a new board last month and I am in love with it. I dropped the yellow and picked up a little more green. I think it will really complement Cafe Brauer, my dress and the other accessories that I have been purchasing. There are lots and lots of flowers…

What do you think? Which one do you like best, and why?
they’re all great, so i don’t know which one is “better” but i definitely think that the middle one really pops the most. good luck!
