Little Boys and Girls

December 17th, 2007 @ 5:44 pm by Mrs. Donut

Mr. Donut and I are having 4 little ones take an active part in our ceremony. Hopefully anyway - you never can tell with little kids. Between us, we have 3 nephews who we adore. The oldest, my nephew and godson, will be our ring bearer. The other two will be honorary ushers. One will escort my grandmother down the aisle to her seat. The other, who is Mr. Donut’s nephew, will usher his grandma. They will all be wearing this flax linen short and vest set from Luli/Frankie Boys

My flower girl is a very dear friend’s little daughter. She is quite the princess and I think that this dress is perfect. From Anna Bean

I’m so excited about how cute they will look! Best of all, these adorable little outfits can be used at Easter (just a month before our wedding) or at birthday parties.

I adore that dress. It’s perfectly suited for a little girl. We’re doing blue and white gingham silk dupioni dresses for our two flower girls from Strasburg Children and I love those too! Our ringbearer will not wear a tux though we’re not sure what he is wearing yet. We’re waiting for summer collections to come out before we order! Glad to see someone else who is doing something different than the tux/ivory dress with sash. Not to offend anyone- that’s adorable too!!

That is the exact kind of flower girl dress I want to get! But I need it in either red or light blue (more aqua than the sleeveless one on that site). I am hoping that I’ll have more options once Easter comes closer because I LOVE that style of dress!

So cute! Your little ones will be such a sweet addition to your celebration Miss Donut. My flower girl, even though she was 7, is so tall and grown up looking, I couldn’t make her wear a “little girls” dress. She looked very pretty in the white dress her mom picked out for her and it worked so well with a tight bouquet of white tulips (no tossed petals — again too young for her).
