Before the hair trial, I start shopping around for some hair bling. I used to want to wear an orchid in my hair, possibly like this one but sitting towards the side/bottom of a classic updo instead of behind the ear like this chica is rocking it.

Yah - Mr. CB wasn’t so hot on it. But I think it’s uber duber super cute.

So then I came across Veil Shop. They have really decent priced items but I should have, however, read the sizes a little better. Har Har - they were a lot smaller than I thought. No wonder I was thinking I was getting really good bang for my buck. I can’t afford to spend too much on hair blinging because we all know - there are some fabulous stunnas that other bees have used. I have to pick my moolah battles.

Oooh lala - the blinging arrived fast, they were responsive over the phone and had great customer service. The booooo of it all though is that within 7 days of receiving it, you have to get it postmarked on its way to be returned. It didn’t quite arrive on the day I was hoping, so I rescheduled my hair trial within the 7 day period, making it JUST in time to post mark it the next morning back to them. PHEW - what a relief it was to get meeh moolah back.

For starters, I got these babies: Rhinestone Flowers with Faux Pearl center for $19.00 for 6. Not too shabby.

For $32.00 for 6, I got these 1/2″ across flowers vs the 3/4″ ones for the same price:

I went crazay happy on them and ordered even more, well two more items. I like that they show exactly how many they have in stock but it also only freaked me out and made me want to order it more.

For Hair Combs, I got these: Silver Hair Comb for $22

* Ignore the sharty looking hair … I got a hair cut the next day following this fugly pics.

So tell me, what do you think? Flower or no flower? Or … better yet, which hair pin did you like or dislike? Which ones do you think I ended up with? I’ll give you a clue, I have two sets for my two different hair do’s.
