Mrs. Snow Pea, New York
Age and Occupation: 26, Architectural Engineer and student
Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Web Designer
Engagement Date: July 4, 2005
Wedding Date: August 18, 2007
About Me: I am a DIY gal. From cooking, home improvements to wedding. Mr. Snow Pea and I met in college, and since then we've been like peas and carrots! Love cooking, traveling, and fishing.
I need some help deciding on the cover of my blog book. Since it’s my wedding PLANNING book, I am undecided about whether I should use engagement or wedding pictures for the cover. I love them both, but it seems like the engagement picture would be more appropriate since it’s my planning book. On the other hand, I love our wedding photo and perhaps I should use the wedding photo since that’s the ultimate goal.
Option #1: Engagement picture cover

Option #2: Wedding picture cover

Fiance's Age and Occupation: 27, Data Analyst
Engagement Date: April 2, 2006
Wedding Date: September 2007
Blogging Since: July 11, 2007
Venue: Restaurant in Burlington
About Me: I didn't think I'd be "that girl," but I am having so much fun planning our wedding (mostly by myself). I'm a PR and Marketing Director for a major jazz festival and camp by day, and by night, a romantic jazz singer and bride-to-be! I hope all my research can help other brides in their planning.
Getting Ready Part I
Getting Ready Part II
While I was getting ready with my mother and mother-in-law at the Aveda Salon in Burlington, Mr. Onion was with his father, brother and best friend (his groomsmen) at The Men’s Room getting a shave and enjoying some time together, just the guys. I was so glad our photographer’s husband Andy went with the guys so I could feel like I didn’t miss anything! It was important to me that Mr. Onion got some pampering that morning too so he felt taken care of and special.

Mr. Onion enjoying a face massage after a hot towel. It looks like such a peaceful way to begin his day.

Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Construction Project Manager
Engagement Date: February 10, 2007
Wedding Date: September, 2008
Blogging Since: December 7, 2007
Venue: The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA
About Me: Mr. Cupcake and I hit it off at a Halloween party and immediately began a long-distance relationship. After two years, he moved to my neck of the woods, and a year and a half after that, he proposed at the “place we fell in love.” I am a true perfectionist who enjoys designing and creating more work for myself, so wedding planning is my perfect outlet. Mr. Cupcake and I are both old souls, and we hope to weave that aspect of our personalities into our wedding day.
Along the same lines as Miss Robin’s post about her first dance song, I thought I’d jump on the music bandwagon and throw out a few options to the hive….
**Note to readers: the Cupcakes are slightly less agile than (but just as physically fit as) this dashing couple.

I received an email last month from For Your Party announcing a few new additions to their site. The site has received a pretty major overhaul since I ordered from them last summer and it is definitely for the better. Everything is very interactive and creative. I think they have really changed up the old personalized matchbooks and their new products are pretty gorgeous.

About Me: Despite the fact that I’ve invested many long years of my life studying the sciences in college, I’m glad to be out of there and I would never do it again! I’m super artsy at heart - I run an indie craft site, I grew up shooting and developing my own film, doing jazz and ballet, and the whole gamut of art classes. I’ve been called a Jane of all Trades… but I was also told many years ago not to make my passion my career because it’d suck the fun out of it. Hence my choice of day job. We live in Seattle but are having our wedding in Canada to be fair to all our family and friends.

Tim Willoughby is a handsome photographer hailing from South Carolina. I used to say that I really didn’t care for photoshop, and with the exception of a few inappropriate light flares and other random effects. I think Tim’s post-processing is the best I’ve seen, especially when applied to unexpected images like prep shots.

Fiance's Age and Occupation: 33, Counsel/DOO for Small Gov't Contractor
Engagement Date: August 8, 2007
Wedding Date: March, 2008
Venue: Still Looking!
About Me: In all my dreams of the man I'd someday marry, I never pictured anyone as perfect for me as Mr. Tulip. So now we just have to make it through the craziness of the wedding and the moving in together! I love crafts, sewing, jewelry making, and photography, so am looking forward to this chance for DIY fun. When not wedding planning, I'm playing with our dog and 4 cats, Ebay shopping, or watching too much TV (often simultaneously!).
It’s here! It’s here! After many months of waiting (more on THAT below), I finally have a new Gocco in hand!

I have wanted one of these babies since reading about them in the very first issue of Craft magazine. At the time, though, the company had stopped making Goccos, and even if you picked up a used version there was no guarantee of future supplies. I’ve already seen the supply chain cut off for one of my hobbies, and the resulting feeding frenzy was a pricey nightmare. Plus, the expense was hard to justify for just a hobby….

Engagement Date: December 1, 2006
Wedding Date: January, 2008
Blogging Since: September 6, 2007
Venue: catherdral ceremony/private club reception
About Me: Mr. Magnolia and I are thrilled to be planning an evening, winter wedding for 200 people in Atlanta. We both work in politics and share a love of University of Georgia football, pop culture, and good food! I'm a runner who adores wedding magazines, bad reality television, and a
good glass of wine. Most of the time I like to think I'm pretty organized, but between wedding planning, house hunting, and a full-time job, I'm being put to the test!
Yes, I know… I’m two days late. But I have an excuse - look what Mr. Magnolia got me for Christmas!

Meet Knowshon Magnolia,
the cutest little scottie dog on the block!
(named after this guy, the UGA running back who was named SEC Freshman of the Year)
Okay, wedding related? We got our marriage license this morning, so now both the church and the state of Georgia say that it’s okay for us to say “I do!” Woo hoo!
