An ice luge at your wedding? I think not. To each bride her own…

Has anyone else noticed that the weekly fave bios at the Knot tend to be for girls that are thin? I haven’t seen a bio of the week that involved a plus-sized bride in quite some time now. Maybe I’ve missed one or two here and there, though. Just making an observation…I’m a big girl, and tend to notice silly shtuff like that. ;)

I’ve noticed that too. I don’t think it’s on purpose but do you think we can see more diversity? Thanks!

^Are you serious??? Since when does diversity apply to one’s size?

Wow…did anyone notice the strong color coordination of the first wedding? It went down to the honeymooning clothes. I doubt I could pull that off so well~

lol silverstar!
i liked how all the BM had their hair pulled to side ponytails. That was a cute touch. Lucky they all had long hair.

Of course everyone has their own definition of diversity, but it certainly can include size as well as race, gender, religion, etc., especially in the forum of a blog about brides-to-be who may be looking for dress ideas. It’s the same argument as those again the fashion industry - the wedding industry is selling to brides of all shapes and sizes (customs and colors) they should embrace everyone if they expect to appeal to them and get their monetary support.
