Mrs. Radish, Chicago/Syracuse Age and Occupation: 27, Executive Assistant/Journalism Student/Musician Fiance's Age and Occupation: 28, Anthropologist/Musician Engagement Date: December 20, 2005 Wedding Date: August 18, 2007 Blogging Since: June 26, 2007 Venue: The Wellington House in Fayetteville, NY About Me: Mr. Radish and I are both from upstate New York, so we are planning a wedding in Syracuse from about 700 miles away. When I’m not obsessing about our wedding I play the cello in my band (which Mr. Radish is in too), read as much as I can, sleep even more, travel whenever possible, and try to find time to have fun with my friends. I’m also working on finishing up my journalism degree with a concentration in environmental reporting and I’m the VP of my campus Amnesty International chapter… so I’m a pretty busy bee.

Part I: Here Comes The Groom

January 9th, 2008 @ 4:19 pm by Mrs. Radish

Our wedding was in August, but I’m just finally getting around to posting our wonderful pro pictures. Our wedding photographer was Tim Forbes of Forbes Creative Photography. Since Tim was with me at my hotel while I was getting ready, he sent his second shooter, Scott McQuarrie, to take these pictures of Mr. Radish and his best man preparing for the big day. Scott actually has his own wedding photo business based in Toronto called Re:Action Inc. and he got some great shots for us and was really nice to work with.

Well… here it is, the first installment in my wedding story. More to come!

Note: These were not all for Mr. Radish! We gave all of the groomsmen a flask filled with a nice single malt scotch as part of their thank you gift.

Awesome photos, I really love them! They tell a story, and I think that’s how all photos should be! I can’t wait to see the rest of them!

Yay! Not to sound stalker-ish, but I’m a big fan of the Radishes, and I’m way too excited about finally getting to see your wedding photos! I love the shot of the flasks being filled…and the one of Mr. Radish looking a little cranky as he gets groomed. Dig the pinstripes!

great photographer and beautiful photos. love the first one of mr. radish looking in the mirror and the flask photo. nice touch — you filled the flasks with nice scotch!

mr. onion gave his best friend/groomsmen hendrick’s gin, pims, and REALLY nice tonic water (fever tree) and they enjoyed a glass together at the inn two nights before the wedding. it’s nice to have a really nice drink every now and then.
