About Mrs. Flamingo

The Queen Bee of Budgets

January 9th, 2008 @ 5:47 pm by Mrs. Flamingo

I consider myself little over the top when it comes to my organizational skills, so when the wedding kicked in… I went ballistic. Every person that sees me and my famous white wedding binder says I am extremely ahead of my game when it comes to my wedding planning, but then again I started planning almost 2 years before my official wedding date.

I wanted to share with my wedding planner budget (in excel form) with all of you. It’s a detailed compilation of everything you can think of for the whole planning process. (In hopes I have not forgotten anything)

Here are my sections:

  • Rings
  • Apparel
  • Beauty
  • Ceremony Site
  • Reception Site
  • Food & Beverages
  • Cake & Bonbonnières
  • Flowers & Decoration
  • Music
  • Photography & Videography
  • Invitations & Stationery
  • Transportation
  • Gifts
  • Honeymoon
  • Other Expenses

In hopes this will help you to better manage your budget! Happy Planning!

Oh, the beauty of a well-organized spreadsheet! This is also exactly what I need right now - well, I really should have started using something like this months ago, but I’ve never gotten as organized as I need to be about budgeting! Many thanks. Also, I love to see the word “bonbonnieres” in an Excel sheet. :)

THANK YOU!!!

i just downloaded it and it so much more colorful than my generic plain spreadsheet. i still ahd the percentages in mine…and i liek that feature so i may throw up that column for references purposes. otherwise, its perfect.

:)

Thanks again!

You’re awesome! Thank you for sharing!!! I’ve been looking for something easy to use - not too overwhelming and this is exactly IT. I tried the budget tool on the knot but hated all the unnecessary columns they had.

Do you happen to also have a guest list tracker you wouldn’t mind sharing? I wanted to track the guest list in excel somehow but wasn’t sure what format or how I can put the info in so I can use excel to make address labels, print envelopes for Thanks You cards, etc.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!

i don’t know if the info on the spreadsheet is your actual info or not. if not, this may be of no consequence. just in case it is i thought i’d point out that the total number of boutonnieres says 5 but the breakdown of people adds up to 6. don’t want anyone to be missing a boutonniere on your big day!

I just started my wedding planning and this has been indispensable in getting an idea of how much I am looking to spend. And then after I start spending money it will be amazing for tracking where everything is going. Thanks so much!
