We had a ton of fun with the Bee Secret Santa Exchange, and some readers expressed interest in participating in a Weddingbee swap! So Mrs. Spider had the idea of doing a Valentine’s card swap.

I say you must incorporate some sort of heart theme…. maybe the card that has teh most hearts wins a little starbucks gc?
I think home made cards would be great! Since the readers don’t know each other as well as we know the bees, gifts would be difficult!
FUNSIES! i say diy cards and maybe a little bit of candy but that’s it. the cards alone would be soooo fun!
we can always do a wedding themed swap later in the year. Mrs. BOP had the idea of a “something blue” theme. That might be a lot of fun too!

I think for Valentine’s Day, we should definitely go the route of DIY cards.
Oh man. Does a couple of stickers and some markers count as DIY?
How ’bout a good ol’ fashion HEART theme? All items must be in the shape of a heart. Then we can compile a giant collage of all the different shape, size and textured hearts that are exchanged. Think of all the possibilities:
- cut a sponge into a heart
- knit a little heart shaped coaster
- glue hersey kisses into a heart pattern
- bake some heart cookies
the possibilities of fashioning some random material into a heart is endless!

Homemade cards sounds great!
Homemade Valentines would be fun! I participated in the Holiday Card Swap sponsored by Brooklyn Bride. It was so much fun to receive cards from different places.

cards are a great way in which also me and other girls abroad can participate! Brooklyn Brides Card Swap was so much fun, if we do something similar, I´m in.

What if we swapped candy/chocolates that were particular to where we’re from? (See’s from California, Cadbury’s from England, Fannie May from Chicago…)? Maybe that’s a stupid idea…. I like the card idea!

I like the old school homemade care idea… maybe a small sampling of your favorite Valentine’s candy too (mmm… cinnamon gummy hearts *drool*)… no matter what, I’m totally in!
