I really don’t care to have my portrait taken, but these I could manage. I get by with a little help from my friends…..

Standing Around, Trying To Look Pretty : wedding pictures recap 15528I had to include this shot with my BFF. She stepped in and took care of all the last minute details, so I could have enough time to have my hair and makeup done. Thanks, friend!

I do love these pics! Could I ask where the veil is from? Or what you would call it? I’m on a veil hunt myself, but have no idea where to start or even what I like. But I do know that I like yours!

Thanks, ladies!

I got the veil from http://www.obridal.com. It’s a cathedral length sheer veil in diamond white.
The bridesmaids dresses are by Melissa Sweet.

Hi Mrs. Licorice,
I am thinking about having my reception at John Oliver Michael House too. I love the idea, just wondered if you could post a few pics of the inside reception area of Oliver’s. The pic of the twinkling lights(luck love angels) is exactly what I was thinking. Is it possible to do in Oliver’s? Thanks!

elizzie7: I will be posting about the reception in a couple of days. I actually ended up not being able to string lights or hang anything from the rafters because the owners had changed their policy right before my wedding. I compensated with lots of candle light on the mantle and tables and with candelabras.

Mrs. Licorice: Where are your girls’ dresses from? They’re incredibly flattering on everyone.
