DIY Valentine’s Day Card Swap

January 14th, 2008 @ 3:30 pm by Mrs. Bee

We’re pleased to announce our first ever DIY Valentine’s Day Card Swap!  We’re gonna keep it relatively simple and exchange 3 cards with other readers and bees (all readers will get at least one card from a bee).  There’s no criteria other than the cards be DIY, so get creative and have fun!  Before you send out your cards, please be sure to email me a picture so we can showcase all your inspiring creations on Weddingbee!

If you’re interested in participating, please email me (bees included) at bee@weddingbee.com with your full name and address by midnight tomorrow.  I have no idea what kind of card I’m gonna make, but this should be a lot of fun - I can’t wait! :)

yay!

just one question. how is this going to work logistically? will our full names and addresses be given out to other readers? or will be all send you our Valentine’s day cards and you send it out to each person?

Great idea though! Thanks for organizing this Mrs. Bee!

your names and addresses will be given out to other readers. I think it’d be a little overwhelming for me to receive hundreds of cards, sort them and then mail them all out. :)

I have a question - is this a card that is addressed to that person? Or is it a blank card, for that person who receives it to use it any which way?

Ooooooh, I thought they were 3 blanks for them to use. So, if it’s addressed TO them (as in, a card from me to ____) then we are sending 1 card each to three different people?

(I liked the idea of sending 1 person 3 cards for them to use better, but I’m still in :)
