Which Ones For The Little Ones?

January 14th, 2008 @ 1:50 pm by Mrs. Daffodil

I am so excited…Our flower girls and ring bearer have been confirmed! Mr. D and I knew which kids we would love to have be a part of the wedding as soon as we got engaged. We were so excited to get the OK from their parents yesterday!

The little ones are triplets and are such special little kids!…We think of them as miracle babies. They are the children of our college pastor, who will be marrying us. Our pastor and his wife had been praying for children for many years, and many of us were praying for them too, so you can imagine the joy everyone experienced when they arrived! Some people think they are still rather young (they’ll be ~2.5 by the time of the wedding), but we just love those babies so much and are so honored that they will be a part of the wedding!

Anyway, a while back, I was doing research on great sources for flower girl/ringbearer outfits. The site with the best value that I’ve discovered to date is FlowerGirl Dress For Less. They have some beautiful little dresses at great prices! I am trying to decide between these three:

pink flowergirl dress
Pink Dress with Pink Flowers starting at $34.99

ivory organza flowergirl dress
Ivory Organza with Beaded Belt starting at $28.99

white flowergirl dress with pink flowers
White Petal Dress with Pink Petals starting at $49.99

And btw, they also have tuxedos for the little guy as well! I like this style the most:

ringbearer tuxedo
Boys Suit Style Tuxedo starting at $39.99 altogether, for the jacket, pants, white shirt, cummerbund, and bowtie! Very affordable over some of the rentals out there, which can begin at $99!

So which one of those flower girl dresses do y’all like the most?

I really like the first pink one the most even though they are all so cute!

I like the first one.
The second one is a little too tiny bride for my taste and I’d have concerns about the flower petal hem on the last one, it could make it hard to alter and might be tempting for the little ones to pick off.

Another vote for #1. I’m a sucker for the empire waist– looks great on ladies of all ages! :)

I like the second one. Simple, elegant, and not too typical.

that little tux is so cute.. and so affordable.. as for the dresses, I like the first two, but since the kids are two and a half (I work in a children’s clothing store) the pink is way more age appropriate. The ivory, though it is beautiful… kids that age in white clothes is just a bad idea… every little move they make will show. they are all beautiful choices.

I like the second all-white one the best!

I actually got my flowergirl’s dress from Burlington Coat Factory (does anyone have any of those?) for 29.99. They had a GREAT selection and they were nicer than the ones selling for 100+… flowergirl LOVED her lacy look alike dress. (looks similar to mine!)

I got our flower girl dress at MyGirlDress.com for only $25. It was super cute. Here’s my review and company contact info.
