The minute I got a copy of Today’s Top Stationery Artists by Tori Higa, I started eagerly flipping through the pages and was wowed at every turn. This book is perfect for brides who are beginning to think about stationery and have no idea where to start. It’s also great for anyone looking for card crafting inspiration (a la Weddingbee’s Valentine’s Day Card Swap!) The pages are chock full of eye candy with a little blurb on each designer. I’m always amazed at how much talent and creativity exists in the design world.

Not only does it feature my all time favorites designers from Egg Press, Cat Seto, Snow and Graham to Paper+Cup, Two Piglets, and Hello Lucky! I also discovered some really awesome new (well, new to me!) designers.
Joy by Mel Lim
My favorite aspect of Mel Lim’s designs is that they come in little packets and she has jujus (which in my definition are good luck/energy items but look like little cards in her collection)! How cute is that!

Rosebud Design Studio
I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the samples in the book. These are so witty and hilarious. They also make custom stationery sets, which are quite beautiful and detailed.

Fomato
I love the illustrations from Fomato. Their cards are just as cute and educational! Check out this adorable birthday card and instructions on how to prepare sushi.

I could go on and on (I think I bookmarked almost every other page!) The book is an invaluable resource for discovering designers whose products I haven’t seen in shops yet and a perfect source of inspiration. Now to get cracking on those valentines…
That’s great!! I’ve been looking for something to motivate and inspire me to do stationery. Thanks for sharing!
