My cousin started things off on the violin.

My sister had an “I’m just so happy I could cry” moment. She’s funny like that. :)

Yay! I finally get to see Mr. Licorice!

Mr. Licorice’s oldest sister did a reading.

After the reading, our officiant gave a charge to the immediate family members. To show the answer in the affirmative, they stood. Then they each shared a few words of wisdom with Mr. Licorice and I. Below is a pic from when my dad started to speak. I’m such a sap.

When the family members were finished speaking, our officiant gave the same charge to all of our guests. I adore this visual representation of their love and support for us!

Mr. Licorice had to bust out his vows….

which is cool since I had to do the same. Hehehehe

This is it!

Mr. Licorice calls this “the Money Shot.”

“Mr. and Mrs. Licorice, you are now married! How do you feel?”

I love the ceremony. Under a big tree was my first pick, but we couldn’t find anything in our area….never mind that it’s Washington. :)

That’s an awesome kiss!

sl524: I’ve answered this before, but it’s no problem! It’s been a wonderful validation that I picked the right bridesmaid dress! Haha!

It’s Melissa Sweet, style MS109. IMO, the dress isn’t much more expensive than a lot of dresses out there, and it’s much better quality than some selections. It’s made of silk charmeuse, such a dreamy fabric! My sister was considering having her’s lopped off at the knees to make a cocktail dress. :)

amanda: Thanks! My dress is by Lazaro. It comes with a sash and flower that I saved for the reception.

You have some seriously beautiful wedding photos! You had a great photographer, not to mention a beautiful wedding :) This might be a dumb question, but what do you mean when you said the officiant “gave a charge”? I like how the standing represents support for the couple, but I’m just not sure how. So, if you could clarify, that would be great!
