Making It Extra Special

January 16th, 2008 @ 5:04 pm by Mrs. Butterscotch

Christina Aguilera has released a video with her song Save Me From Myself. It has snippets of her getting ready and of her actual wedding to Jordan Bratman in 2005. I really like this because it’s timeless and it must have extra special meaning to them as a couple with her singing!

I’ve been a bad Mrs. and haven’t really done much with our video yet, but this has inspired me!

What fabulous things are you planning on doing to your video to make it timeless and unique for years to come?

I always forget how gorgeous her voice really is and it was nice to see her in jeans with loose hair, as opposed to the more stylized look at her wedding.

We didn’t finish ours until 2 years after the wedding, so don’t feel too bad.

We’re credit watchers. At the end of every movie, you’ll find us there until the employees come in to clean. So having cool credits was important to us. We had the name of every guest there, our thank yous to the people who worked for us, vendors, and so on. I put it under headings like “cast” and “crew” for a fun touch.
