Glam Train… Continued…. Toot TOOT!

Early last month, the night before my trip to NYC where I gots to meet Bee, I squeezed in a trial with Diana. Before setting my appointment with Diana, I had contemplated my options: I could get my hair done by my regular hairstylist but unfortunately, he didn’t take clients that early in the morning. And if I did that, I’d have to hire a separate make up artist just for me and my gals and/or possibly hire another hair/make up team for my gals and me moms and aunt. That seemed like way too much of a headache.
I had a few artists whose work I knew was fab, because I was referred to them by friends who had used them for their own weddings and loved them. Diana was one of those gals - she did my gfs’ hair and make up 3 years ago, and I can still remember how effen fab she looked and that’s how I want to look!
Here’s the pre-glam look, I look exhausted don’t I? Blargh gar marsh.

. Okay so we forgot to take pictures at the beginning but you get a little sense of the hotness starting to filter out, no? You can see one spec of the gem in my hair.
There’s Diana, working her skills and starting on my second do, the mo important one so to say. The one where I ball my eyes out and say my I do’s to the oh-so-patient Mr. CB (who came by after work to join my team of bridesmaids that came for support and to SNAP tons of shots of me).

For day of:
- I’ll need to NOT get a haircut two days before the wedding so my bangs are longer.
- Gotta get the blush and lipstick to touch up before the ceremony.

Diana is awesome. She’s so great to work with, easy to chat with, and she has assistants she can bring along so it’s a full service hair and make up team, depending on your needs. Your hair is FAB! I love it. The make up is good but I’m not digging the lipstick color either. Its a little too nude? Other than that, it looks great!
i LOVE your makeup! the lipstick is great on you, don’t change it at all! i like your hair but i think it’d be nicer if the bun was a bit higher but the overall look is glammmmmm!

I love the bridal ‘do and makeup, although the lip color comes out a little more nude in the pic with flash? Ooo and I wore fake lashes for the very first time at my hair/makeup trial last weekend and LOVED it. My e-pic session was that same day, I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
I love the second hair do! And makeup too! Plus lipstick will be easy to change. =)

You know, I really like your hair, and I think the bangs are perfect. Not too short at all. =)
But umm, can I be honest? It’s about your makeup (NOT your face) and I’ll let you answer that before I go any further. Don’t wanna hurt any feelings on the oh so wonderful Weddingbee now…
I’m not a big makeup girl but I’m amazed at how it transformed you into a more glamorous version of yourself - incredible! Maybe there is something about this makeup after all… 
Your hair looks fantastic too - I agree with L that your bangs are perfect.

I’m going to honest about it so hope you don’t take it personal. I think the up do should be higher or more curls, it looks plain in the front. From the front I can’t tell if your hair is in an updo or a pony tail. The makeup looks awesome, I think you should go for a more dramatic look on the fake lashes and darker lipstick color.
OMG OMG so gorgeous. I really really like the ceremony makeup/hair (#2) - even the lipstick, which I think is a fantastic shade for you! The whole look is just so beautifully natural, and it has the added advantage of seeming like it will hold up really well during the wedding (as opposed to something bigger or curlier that might start to droop, or be ‘too much’ with your comb). I have super-straight hair, too, and I know that as much as I might love really curly or ’styled’ updos, there is no way my hair would cooperate!
Thank you everyone for your love and honest opinions. I am definitely considering having the bun a little bit higher in the back and am still contemplating lip color as I will go shop the mac counter to see if there is anything else I might like.

Okay, I’m just gonna say it. I liked Amy’s work a lot more. Actually, I LOVED it. This is just too much makeup (for my taste). It’s like you’re trying too hard with the makeup (of course I know you’re not, since you didn’t do your own makeup). That’s just my opinion though. What do I know (not engaged), maybe you DO need the dramatic makeup to show in your pics.
