Papier Couture

I heart anything paper so I can’t get more excited when I find something I absolutely need to share with everyone.
When I was a little girl, I created paper dresses with my younger sister. It was a fun pastime and something I always loved. As time passed, obviously less of that was happening… even though I sometimes wished we could still make paper dresses. So whenever I go to bridal parties, I’m the first in line when the toilet paper dress competition presents itself (and I always win 
).
When I came across the Papier Couture website… I couldn’t help but feel a little bit of envy.

These creations are the baby of Lia Griffith, a graphic designer and art director. Papier Couture is a beautiful collaboration of fashion and art, utilizing a mixture of papers, patterns and typography to create dresses. These dresses are any paper lover’s dream. They are simply stunning… the craftmanship is over the top.

I would honestly wear them. Where can I get one??? 
It would be so awesome to get married in one of these… but you just have to make sure that it doesn’t rain. These dresses give a whole new twist to the eco-friendly wedding.
Am I the only one so nuts about paper?

This is so neat!! My family is good friends with Lia’s Griffith’s famliy and we were all in awe of those gorgeous dresses in the brocheres she showed us this past summer! Way awesome to see them displayed on my favorite blog
