Can you believe it?! This is officially Weddingbee’s 10,000th blog post! I can’t believe how far we’ve come in the past two years, and we really couldn’t have done any of it without our fantastic readers and bees!
To celebrate this milestone, we’re going to have a fun little contest. Guess how many comments we’ve had on weddingbee as of this post by 6pm EST tonight, and the closest person will win this big jar of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans (because I love them - especially buttered popcorn)!
We’re eternally grateful for your support of weddingbee and promise to continue working hard on improving the site and bringing you new features! We have the best readers and bees anywhere!

Since I’m guessing on the lower end relative to everyone else, this is how I’ve calculated it: 10,000 posts total, most of them, I will guess, were in the last 18 months of the total 24 months. The number of comments have increased tremendously in the last 12 months. I did some research and there were no comments on the early days before Mrs Beetle and Mrs Ladybug came on board (unless they didn’t transfer over when you changed blog hosts, but I’m going to not count what I don’t see and if I’m wrong,I’m wrong). I’m going to guestimate an average of 7 comments for the last 9000 posts, so that is 63,000 comments. Then I’m going to guess there have been a few dozen contest like this, lets add 15500 posts to the 63,000 =68500.
Damn! That’s a lot of posts. On top of that, I am a total geek.
I’m guessing 700,847! =)
