Photos For Everyone!

January 23rd, 2008 @ 4:45 pm by Mrs. Hydrangea

When we began planning our wedding, I immediately started to think of fun ways for our guests to celebrate with us. I had recently been rummaging through a D Magazine, and I came across an ad for a photobooth company. I thought this was such a cute idea so I checked out their website and was completely impressed. While photobooths are really becoming popular these days, this booth offers some cool options for both you, and your guests.

The company, boothBOOTH, brings the photobooth to your event, but they also provide high resolution photos in both color and black and white for your guests AND they put up a website after your event where your guests can visit to view and purchase the pics! One of the partners in the company is a popular Dallas wedding photographer, Gary Donihoo with f8studio… check his site out as well. His pics are amazing.

I totally love the idea of a photobooth and am working on getting one for my wedding.

Um, the photobooth picture you posted isn’t very PG…more like PG-13 or R if you ask me! You may want to change it!!! :)

we had a photobooth at our wedding…it was a HUGE hit. We had black and white and color prints for our guests, personalized banner on the prints, they put up the website for everyone to view AND we got a CD with hi-res of all the pics taken through out the night!!! It was a blast looking through them the week after! And best part…the inside was a bright red, which made the funnest pics! http://www.redcheese.com/

Thats such a great idea! Does anyone know how much that service goes for? I am not so sure that it is in my budget…but I would certainly consider it!

The high res and all that is really great (and posting to a website, too!). I knew I wanted a classic black and white booth, though. We made a guestbook out of ours and told guests to take home as many as they wanted as a favor. A couple people didn’t “get” that, so being able to order online would have been neat.

Just be sure you’re really getting what you want. I looked at one company that printed them horizontally and with party frames and weirdness that I didn’t really want. :-)

I know our booth in Seattle cost 1,400 for four hours (min.), and I’d wished we’d paid for five–it was SO fun for guests! Expensive but a crowd pleaser for sure. photoboothservices.com

ours was 1700…for 6 hours and 2 hours of “no use time” becuase I wanted the booth set up before everyone entered, but people weren’t using it until after the first dance and father daughter dance….and there was someone on site at all times to make sure nothing went wrong.
