An Early Present For Mr. Lovebug

February 5th, 2008 @ 6:14 pm by Mrs. Lovebug

Seems like eons ago that I first feverishly expounded our wedding theme. Now, all the little deets are finally coming together. Even Mr. LB gets some deets, handcrafted with love, and personalized with his yummy-sounding initials:

I’m thinking the $20 price tag is more than reasonable for an awesome photograph of him flexing his customized cuffs. I’m thinking I’d love a wedding book page with adjacent photos of his handsomely outfitted wrists and my out-thrust bouquet, bound with ribbon and matching typewriter keys that spell out

L
O
V
E

or maybe

X
O
X
O

or maybe even

2
B
M
R
S

Which do you like? What else could I spell out? Polls are open!

Linda says:

you could do

Your First Name initial

Your Last Name initial

+

His First Name initial

His Last Name initial

…but out of the ones you showed, i love the X O X O!

I was thinking along the same lines as Linda but with:

“Your First Initial”

“Your Last Initial”

“Shift” (or “Shift Key”, or even “Floating Shift”)

“His Last Initial”

which only works if you are changing your last name, of course!

I was looking over the Etsy site for other ideas and it could be amusing if you could think of a way to use the “Single Tab Clear” key.

That said, you could have the XOXO’s made into cute earrings and or a necklace after the wedding day, so they get my vote too.

I just love all the creative ways you are finding to carry out your theme!

Oh, and on a completely unrelated topic, I just found out that “Beanchar” is another name for the city of Bangor in Northern Ireland.

I put it together from the names of my dogs and it ends up being a place you could visit on the Lovebug honeymoon– how random.

Wow … 2 BMRS … that took me a while. I read it as “2 Beemers,” like that’s what’s sitting in your driveway. :)

I can’t believe those were only $20! So cool. I like the “LOVE” idea for the ribbon.

I agree with Miss Shortcake. Do it simple with “Love” Those are adorable. Totally worth $20.

Miss Lovebug says:

Mrs. Onion - yep, the link is up there in the “handcrafted with love” line.

I’ll probably end up using “LOVE”…but I love all the other clever combinations. Wonder if I can come up with a way to use them elsewhere?

How about “4EVER”

bean says:

what about just your initials?
if he’s wearing his initials i think it’d be nice for you to wear yours.
and that way the photo spread would be your initials next to each other.

tbarry: ooh, that one’s good, too. And single tab clear - I love it. I can already tell I’m going to overthink this, ha! Thanks you guys, for all the awesome input. :)
