He proposed exactly 1 year, 1 month and 6 days after our first date (it's the only part of his proposal speech that I remember), and we're planning long-distance from Los Angeles for a July wedding in my hometown of Monterey, CA. No Need For A Panic…

February 5th, 2008 @ 3:02 pm by Mrs. Lemon

The 1 cent stamp increase rumors have faded completely … as it seems that someone in the philatelic community read a memo incorrectly and set the collecting world all a flurry!

So mail your .41 cent invitations with pretty stamps without any fear!

(my apologies for any panic that was raised from my earlier post!!!)

Hmmm…from what I read in a USPS page, I thought it appeared as if stamp prices were going up again this spring too. Really? No?

haha, funny, I just asked the post office guy today about a possible rate increase. He looked at me like I had 3 heads. He said he hadn’t heard anything.

I decided not to believe him and purchased Forever Stamps anyway for my RSVP envelopes! I actually think they are perfect for those envelopes anyway. :)

I too was at the post office mailing my v-day cards and asked about the stamp increase. I got a similar response to toucan’s.

Yeah, well I asked at my post office when the Love Running stamp was coming out and they said probably before Valentine’s Day. I’m not sure they really know anything. When you look at the release schedule, all the first class stamps scheduled after about April say 42 rather than 41 - that looks like an increase to me! I’m going to wait and see…
