It was a sad night in Toucanland. And a happy one for the 95% of football fans (I am well aware of the hatred towards Boston sports).
Sunday night, we held a small football party. We were really loud. And then, at the end, really quiet. After all our guests left, I sadly started cleaning up. Mr. Toucan got up and walked to the bedroom. I assumed he went to quietly sulk by himself.
A couple minutes later he emerged - like this:

The boy sure does know how to put a smile on my face! We both really love Boston sports, but he is the bigger Pats fan, and I am the bigger Sox fan. So, while the sting from probably one of the most disappointing losses ever is still present, the coming of the baseball season alleviates some of the pain.
This picture is priceless:

I literally laughed for a full 10 minutes straight after I took this picture. So, even though the my beloved Patriots aren’t perfect, it’s the little things like this that make me realize even more that my beloved Mr. Toucan is (to me).
