Get Your Valentines Out!

February 7th, 2008 @ 6:07 pm by Mrs. Bee

I put my Valentines in the mail today!

Once I saw Miss Penguin’s valentines, I knew I couldn’t compete!  I also had to make over 30, so I kept it very simple and bribed everyone with candy goodness instead. :)

Here are the oh so easy steps!  First I cut 8 1/2 x 11″ stamping paper (which is ideal for stamping!) with a paper trimmer, and was able to get 5 cards per sheet.  Then I rounded the corners using a corner rounding punch, and stamped each card with either a heart or bird stamp.

I filled cellophane bags with the candy, the card, some punchouts, and sealed it with a bee sticker.

Voila!  All wrapped up and ready to go.

I admit it didn’t really involve much crafting, but I hope the candy makes you forget all that.

Remember you only have 6 business days left until Valentine’s Day, so please get your cards out asap!  And don’t forget to email me a picture of your completed Valentines - the pictures have been rolling in this week and I’m so excited to share them all with you! :)

I really like your cards. They’re stylish and decorative, but simple and not busy. I like the colored-in hearts in the stamped card. Thanks for sharing.
