Today we have a copy of Offbeat Bride: Taffeta-Free Alternatives for Independent Brides, donated by Miss Hummingbird, to give away.  If a traditional wedding just isn’t your thing, this popular book is a must read.

I thought I was a taffeta-free bride, but somehow the taffeta snuck up and ambushed me. I am still aspiring to be non-traditional in other ways… although maybe there are escort cards and such out there waiting in ambush.

Hey, I’d love the book. Since my mom passed away Jan 10. everything about our wedding has changed. Instead of the traditional here comes the bride song we are having the intrumentals to “old time rock and roll” pus i am having my two little cousins (5 and 7 yrs old) walk me down the isle.
