When I’m not obsessing about our wedding I play the cello in my band (which Mr. Radish is in too), read as much as I can, sleep even more, travel whenever possible, and try to find time to have fun with my friends. I’m also working on finishing up my journalism degree with a concentration in environmental reporting and I’m the VP of my campus Amnesty International chapter… so I’m a pretty busy bee.

Here they come… it’s GO time!

Looking good! My good Chicago buddy escorted by one of Mr. Radish’s best friends.
Profess09

My best friend since age 13 escorted by Mr. Radish’s college roommate. Incidentally, he is going to be on ABC World News tonight. He works for the Center for Environmental Health and Justice in NYC and they interviewed him for a story on potentially toxic chemicals used in baby bottles.
Profess010

What a lovely couple! They are actually married to each other and are the other half of the band that me and Mr. Radish currently play in. I guess we’re kind of like Fleetwood Mac, except without the drama ;)
Profess011

My beautiful oldest sister escorted by one of Mr. Radish’s old college band mates (he was the drummer).
Profess012

Our “solo” groomsman, another old bandmate of Mr. Radish’s. He was supposed to be escorting one of my lovely bridesmaids, but she fell ill with kidney stones (can you say OUCH!) the day before the wedding, so she obviously couldn’t make it. We missed her… but the show had to go on!
Profess013

!!!!!!!! CUTENESS ALERT !!!!!!!!!Set your adorable-meters to high!

Here comes Mr. Radish’s beautiful nieces. I think they might have stolen my thunder! Profess014

The ring bearers followed by our “junior groomsman.” All three of these little cuties are nephews of Mr. Radish.
Profess015

Don’t you just want to pinch their little cheeks?
Profess016

Now they are classy AND cute in black and white! If you’re wondering why we had so many darn kids in the wedding I guess it’s because they are all so darn adorable and we wanted to include them all if we could… and we did!
Profess017

My gorgeous little sister. She was my maid of honor and such an awesome bridesmaid! Lucky me :)

She has such a cute smile and such pretty blue eyes! I’m sooooo jealous.

Here comes my nephew (on the left) and my baby brother (on the right) carrying my DIY banner. All of kids were so well behaved and did such a good job. I was really proud of them all.
Profess018

I love how serious my brother looks and how my nephew is just looking right into the camera instead of in front of him. They are such funny little dudes.

To be continued….

What a lovely wedding party - all those cuties almost make me sorry that we’re not having kids in our wedding! I like how we can see the bride way in the background of the banner picture. Let us know when your band is playing in Chicago! :)

What a lovely group! Your serious little brother reminds me of my godson, who was the “Best Man” in our make-it-legal in our BF’s living room wedding (before our Italy one). He was so solemn and serious about his duties. He even gave a toast after– not bad for an 8 year old.

His little sister, on the other hand (who held the self-chosen title of “Wedding Girl”) ran into the room in from of me and tugged on my dad’s pant leg (dad = judge who married us) and giggled “Okay! Let’s go!” Being four years old, she was most excited about the cake and just about strangled her little tulip bouquet in anticipation.

Their excitement made the day extra special for us, as I’m sure you felt with so many adorable ones in your ceremony.

You’re wedding party is beautiful. I had my younger sister as my MOH too, and having her stand by me was one of the best things I did.

My other little sister was my flower girl, and she totally had the serious face going on too….makes me crack up everytime I watch the video. March step, drop petals, march step, drop petals…I heard about it for a year after!

I LOVE your bridesmaids’ bouquets! I looked through your earlier posts and saw that you made them using silk/paper/faux flowers from Paper Source and Michaels. Can you refer me to the post (or do a post) on how to make such beautiful bouquets?!?!?! I am in love with the lush look of the flowers…especially the dahlias!
