Yes, perhaps you do - but we can go ahead and pretend we’re strangers so we can avoid that awkward silence where you and I both try to conduct a conversation without admitting we don’t know who the other person is.
Despite my recent hermitous (no, that’s not a word) behavior, I did crawl out of my hole and make valentines for people. I’m sorry to anyone who received one as I was going through some crazy ADD moment and they are entirely non-cohesive, and it doesn’t help that my handwriting is that of a 4 year old being forced to write with their off hand. This is why fonts and emails were created, because people wanted to stop hiring hieroglyphic experts in order to read their birthday cards.
See this cute packaging?

It was a photo taken before the USPS made me start over. But let’s all pretend for my ego that this is exactly how it arrived in the mail.

I may have overused the baker’s twine. Mr. GB dragged me to IKEA yesterday to buy random things to help organize, but it’s a losing battle. I’m tied to my office chair in leftover ribbon and twine after a long fight with the infamous “middle drawer” of craft. The more I use, the better it will be in the end, so I’m sorry to all my valentine’s people who will be finding twine in all their food and on their clothes for the next month.
I used a pattern to make my love mouse, I’m not nearly that creative… and I realize now I should have put a magnet or something else in him that would make him less useless. I thought I had squeezed all the craft out of me in October, but I think I’m ready to get back into it. Too bad the wedding is over and all that will result is more twine and felt found in places it doesn’t belong.
Happy early Valentine’s Day!
!! the love mouse is so cute — and the whole package is just adorable
