Which cards do you like best?

I’m one of those scrambling to get as many polaroids as I possibly can ever since reading Bee’s post about Polaroid putting an end to their instant picture division. AAAHHH. Well fear not, I am still going to proceed to do it anyway ’cause why? It’ll be a lasting memory that we had polaroids at our wedding before it became no more.

Along with the awesome polaroid of our guests as they arrive, our fab attendants will hand them a wish card for them to write a few words to us. I plan to put photo corners in a book, so that they can easily pop their picture and wish card next to each other on a page. By handing the guests their polaroid and wish card, they can easily roam to a comfortable spot to write their wishes and plug it into the book when they are ready, rather than feel rushed to finish so the next person can squeeze in next to them.

On the back, I will gocco a spot to write their addresses. Leftover punchouts from my votive candles of the cherryblossoms will serve as a numbering system. One sticker will already be on the card next to the address ie. on #18, there will be 2 spare stickers numbered 18 paper clipped to a card, so that they can place a sticker on the back of the polaroid and the other can be put on the gift they bring to the wedding, so if lost, we can easily piece each element to each guest including their addresses for thank you cards later!

Unfortunately, I am mad working on my invites, so I don’t have visuals of all that I am talking about but I hope I painted a good picture for you. I will post pictures at a later date for you all to see!

You likee the idea? Sound confusing?

Last question for yalls … you got a cute saying I can put on the card for them to write their well wishes other than ” Please write your well wishes for the bride and groom?” What's This? : wedding crafts diy guestbook san francisco Laughin02 laughin02 Me smooches you long time.

We’re using wish cards as well and are using the following saying:

Please write your thoughts and wishes to share with us for life.

For the greatest gift of all will be the gift of your advice.

I used something simple but rhyming:

Re: Polaroid — they have a new pocket-sized printer coming out.

“The Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer can be linked up via Bluetooth or USB to other portable media such as cell phones and digital cameras…”

I’m totally confused as well. Are we picking between the red and pink one? If its the colors, perhaps you can find a pink that is a little darker? I only like the red one more because it stands out more against the white card.

As for branches or cherry blossoms, I like the cherry blossoms!

jen. the one the left is brown, the one on the right is pink.

im trying to decide between using just the ones with the cherry blossom stamped set (on bottom) or use the olive branch stamp set on top.

don’t worry too much about hording polaroid film now- they plan on producing enough to last through 2009, so there shouldn’t be any shortages or anything like that.

they are also selling the rights to the technology, so hopefully another company will pick it up and save us from impending polaroid withdrawal!

I like them all!! The brown cherry blossoms are my favorite too - but I think mixing it up might be fun - and then you don’t have to do 8 bazillion of the same card!
