Happy Valentine’s Day bees and readers! So it’ll be my last valentine’s as an unmarried woman… Mr. Lovebird and I are guilty of overlooking this holiday the last couple of years. Today will be no different. He will be studying for his upcoming neurology exam and I will be at home treating myself to one of my click-flicks.
Too bad this movie isn’t out until later on this year, but it sure caught my eye.
And Colin Firth is in it!!! Oh my gosh, I love Colin Firth, there’s just something about him don’t you agree? From Pride and Prejudice to Bridget Jones’ to Love Actually; I even loved What a Girl Wants!!!
Uma Thurman plays a radio “love doctor” who advises a woman who is having cold feet to not go through with her marriage. The jilted fiance then gets his revenge by throwing Uma a huge curve ball. She’s supposed to get married to Colin but she finds out she’s already married to someone she’s never met…
Maybe we can make a weddingbee day out of it. Who loves Colin Firth as much as I do? Oh wait…today is supposed to be about loving our significant other…hehe.

Ooh I *love* Colin Firth. That scene in Love Actually where he proposes to his love in the restaurant just melts my heart every time. It’s one of my favorite scenes in the movie. Love Actually is so great– it’s one of the few romantic comedies Mr. Jasmine actually really enjoyed.

Same here, today’s my last valentine’s day as a unmarried woman. Fiance is playing soccer tonight though, so I guess there are no plans … and I haven’t heard a “happy valentine’s day” greeting from him yet.

Oh, Lovebird - You do not know how excited I am to hear others who love Colin Firth as much as I do. He was just so HOT in Pride and Prejudice and all of the other movies you mentioned. He doesn’t get nearly as much attention as he deserves. 
Can’t wait to see that new movie!
How sad. They made Colin Firth’s hair so light in this movie. He’s much more striking with dark hair.
I adore Colin. As much as I love the new P & P movie, he will always be Mr. Darcy in my heart.

I LOVE Colin Firth! I normally don’t like to buy DVDs, but I loved him as Mr. Darcy so much that I bought the DVD and replay the good parts all the time! The guy in the new P & P doesn’t begin to compare to his portrayal!
