My wedding shoe dilemma is two fold - Mr. Sundae is only a few inches taller than me and we’re having the ceremony outdoors. I really didn’t want to wear flats because (I am aware this might sound strange) I feel like I walk a little different in heels, even if they are small ones. But almost all of the low heeled shoes I found were kitten heels, which means I will most definitely be sinking in the grass when attempting to walk down the aisle. I tested a few out:

I thought the green would be different and that some shoe clips could dress them up, but when they arrived the green was more of a sea foam color and the heels were really narrow. There would certainly have been sinkage. So then I spent days lusting over these:

But again, the kitten heel wouldn’t stand up to the grass and they’re more than I really wanted to spend. When I found these Kate Spade shoes I almost decided that they were so pretty I didn’t care if I sank into the grass and fell on my face, but logic won out:
Then I found the solution…Something Bleu shoes from My Glass Slipper:
The heel is only 1 1/2 inches and it’s thick, which I am happy to say does prevent sinking. I lusted over Mrs. Onion’s Cynthia Rowley shoes but the heel would have been too high for my purposes. So these are the perfect alternative! They even have a blue sole which will probably serve as my only “something blue.”
Did you have any specific criteria for your shoes? If so, did you ultimately find what you were looking for?
