I absolutely LOVE this picture of my little brother. He is 16 years younger than me but we are very close and he’s always had a very special place in my heart. When he was little he used to say that he wanted to marry me when he grew up! But don’t worry, he now understands the whole you-can’t-marry-your-siblings thing ![]()

The first reading, courtesy of Mr. Radish’s childhood best friend.

We spent a lot of time on our knees!

Another amazing picture! I don’t know how our photographer even got some of these shots. I don’t recall seeing him around us that much and he’s not really visible in any of the non-pro pictures or our video. He was very unobtrusive!

We look so tiny!

Another great moment captured on film. Or, actually, captured in pixels.
Our second reader, Mr. Radish’s cousin.

I ended up switching my original hair idea to a more simple, curly ponytail. I just wanted something that I would feel comfortable in and that I wouldn’t have to worry about too much throughout the day. I was really happy with the way it came out and I like the way it looked under the veil.

My handsome little nephew sitting on the altar. There weren’t enough chairs up there for all of the little boys (we had 5 of them!) so the priest had the little dudes sit on the step of the altar in front of the groomsmen’s chairs.

The altar. We totally skipped out on any flower arrangements for the church since it was already so decorative and colorful. I’m glad we did because they really weren’t needed.

Mr. Radish’s parents

My mom and step-dad… looking rather thoughtful and introspective or, more possibly, bored.

Mr. Radish’s beautiful niece. She is so photogenic!

A very artful shot of our the groomsmen’s

Exchanging the sign of peace with the priest.

My sister/maid of honor and I doing the whole “peace be with you” thing. She looks like she’s about to cry for some reason. She’s very emotional!

My older sister looking on.

Lighting the unity candle with our moms.

We just used the church’s candles because I didn’t feel like buying our own. I guess that saved us a few bucks.
My mom looks super cute in this picture.

I think my photographer must have snapped this one while I was walking back from lighting the unity candle. I look really serious. I was probably concentrating really hard on not tripping on my dress!
Stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion of our wedding ceremony!
Lovely!!! Were your husband, groomsmen, and “little guys” wearing brown tuxes, suits? Or is that just my screen? I’ve been looking at some and trying to decide on them. The main problem has been finding them in “little guy” sizes.
