Mrs. Radish's Picture
Mrs. Radish, Chicago/Syracuse Age and Occupation: 27, Executive Assistant/Journalism Student/Musician Fiance's Age and Occupation: 28, Anthropologist/Musician Engagement Date: December 20, 2005 Wedding Date: August 18, 2007 Blogging Since: June 26, 2007 Venue: The Wellington House in Fayetteville, NY About Me: Mr. Radish and I are both from upstate New York, so we are planning a wedding in Syracuse from about 700 miles away. When I’m not obsessing about our wedding I play the cello in my band (which Mr. Radish is in too), read as much as I can, sleep even more, travel whenever possible, and try to find time to have fun with my friends. I’m also working on finishing up my journalism degree with a concentration in environmental reporting and I’m the VP of my campus Amnesty International chapter… so I’m a pretty busy bee.

Here’s Mr. Radish putting my ring on
Profess033

And now my turn!
Edited05

I kept looking at the priest instead of Mr. Radish when I was saying my vows. Ooops!
Profess034

… and now you may…
Edited06

… KISS THE BRIDE!!! (p.s. I love the look on my sister’s face in this picture. She is so darn cute)
Edited07

Alright - it’s done! Doesn’t Mr. Radish look relieved? Or is that an “Oh %$*@! what have I done!” face? ;)
Edited08

It was a long walk out of there, too!
Profess035

Yay! We made it :) I love this picture. We look so happy!
Edited09

Then we stood in the church vestibule for a minute. We didn’t know what we were supposed to do next!

I love the vest and tie combo on the guys! We were looking for something similar today. Where did you rent/buy them?

DCGirl — we rented them from Afterhours Formal Wear. I think it’s a national chain, so you may be able to find one near you.

Beautiful!!! All the “chapters” to your wedding have been stunning and wonderfully orchestrated. Where did you find your bridesmaids dresses and are they navy and gray and each a different style/texture?
CONGRATULATIONS!

pixielee25 — the bridesmaids dresses are all navy blue (they might just look grey in some of the pics) lace dresses from Bari Jay. They are all the same material and color, but just some are v-neck and a couple are strapless. I let the girls pick which they wanted.

Ah, more beautiful photos! I love how we can see you looking at Mr. Radish out of the corner of your eye in the very first picture…and the way the light looks so golden and warm in some of the pictures of the “stragglers”. Yay for you guys!
