We’re working with Minted.com, a cool new company that’s brought together some of the top indy stationery brands - like Ceci NY, Wiley Valentine, Egg Press, Paper+Cup, Dauphine Press, and many more! 

They’re just starting out so Mariam (their CEO) suggested a contest to give away free custom-designed photo Save-the-date cards!

Here’s the challenge: many brides want to include a picture on their save the dates but find they have to compromise style, modernity and sophistication to do so.  In this contest, Minted’s participating designers will create save the dates that include wedding details and a photo without sacrificing style!

The contest winner will have their photo STD’s custom designed by Minted’s participating designers. Then the winner will select which one they like the best and will receive the photo STD’s in the mail - printed and free of charge.

Actually, there won’t just be one contest winner - there will be THREE.  Three engaged Weddingbee couples will each win 150 photo STD’s (printed offset on high-quality paper stock) along with a $500 credit on Minted.com towards any of their wedding invites and stationery.

Minted has a fair amount of info that they need from contest participants, so we won’t be hosting the contest in our comments (a first for us). Details on the contest (and how to enter) are below. We’ll post the STD options for each of the three contest winners as they’re available, so readers can help the brides choose by voting on their favorites.

To enter, please send by February 29 the following information to contest@minted.com:

• Bride’s and groom’s names
• Location of wedding and reception – venue, city, and state
• Month and year of upcoming wedding
• E-mail address where you can be reached
• Wedding theme (if you have one)
• A photograph (or a few photos!) that designers can use to mock-up their design with – this should be a photo of you and your fiancé.  Don’t fret – if you are chosen as one of the 3 couples, you’ll be given the opportunity to pick a final photo for your actual Save-the-Date cards.
• Something special about your relationship – for example, how you met, what makes your relationship special, what you have in common, or what you like doing together
• Why you should be one of the 3 couples chosen – be creative, anything goes!
