After I got back from the Running of the Brides yesterday I was beat. My lovely friends Christina and Lilibeth were kind/crazy enough to meet me after work to go with me. It is highly recommended to go with other people you know. Being that I am already a two dress bride, I just wanted to check it out and promised Mr. Lovebird I would try not to buy anything.
I was pleasantly surprised that there were still so many great dresses left. Even if you weren’t one of those people who camped out the night before, you could still find a great dress if you stopped by at the end of the day. Here are a few of the ones I tried on.
I tried this one on because I liked the back with the beautiful brooch and the fabric.

This one was my absolute favorite in terms of style and material and had it not been 3 dress sizes to big for me, I would have seriously gotten it.

I tried this one on because it was one of the smaller sizes we did find; although it was still a little too big to get a good feel for the dress.

We were there for about an hour and a half and this dress was the only size 4 we found. It fit perfectly! And I was soooooo tempted to get it. If I didn’t already have two dresses sitting at home, I would have bought this one. Man, now I wish I did. It was only $249 too. .:::kicking self::

This was the only mermaid style dress we found; although I’m sure there were others. The girls were egging me on the buy it but I wasn’t feeling it even though everyone else was. Maybe it was because it didn’t fit quite right since it wasn’t my size…
Overall, a great experience and if I didn’t already have two dresses, I would have surely walked away with at least one dress from this event. Highly worth checking out if this event rolls through your town and you are in the market for a great dress at a fraction of the cost. Most of the dresses I tried on were $249 and a majority of the sizes I saw were around size 10 and above.
