Wedding Blog
We’re introducing a new feature today: the Weddingbee Wiki.
If you’ve ever used Wikipedia, you’ve seen what wikis can do - they’ve used wiki software to collaboratively create and edit the world’s largest encyclopedia.
We thought we’d try and do something similar for the wedding industry, albeit on a much smaller scale. For example, here are some articles we started, using some of the info posted to the blog and boards:

It’s kind of neat: we started Weddingbee because wedding magazines weren’t publishing the sort of personal insights and stories you find in blogs. It’s only been two years, but there are so many wedding blogs now! It’s great to see how blogging has started to change the wedding industry. I wonder if wikis will have a similar impact on weddings?
I hope so! It’s gonna take us some time to build up the Weddingbee Wiki… but working together, I think we can help all those future brides out there who are excited to research weddings but aren’t sure where to start.

We’ve just started to use Wiki at my work. It takes a while to learn and get started. Once you get a hang of it though, its a great tool, really powerful for making information available to anyone looking for it.
It’s really perfect for Weddingbee. You all are doing an awesome job!
This is such a fabulous idea! I love that everything will be incorporated into one page. I always find myself digging around Weddingbee looking for posts on similar topics and this makes it SOOO much easier!
This is the best idea ever!! It will be so useful to future brides seeking a single source for all tips on a certain topic.
This is awesome! I’m actually assisting with a work wiki, so now I get to have WikiWiki fun in two places…sweet!
Hopefully this will also cut down on repeat board posts. I mean, I know some topics come up often, but now I don’t have to go back and say “hey, check out this helpful thread”.

Thanks, Mr. & Mrs. Bee, for adding the Wiki! It’s been a lot of fun fleshing out the topics, and I think it’s going to be a terrific (and revolutionary) feature! When I first found WB last summer, I thought it was amazing. In just the past 6 months, you’ve added so much to the site - it’s incredible! Thanks for making the ‘Bee such a fantastic resource!
