First congratulations to Jodi - the winner in the Beau-Coup Gift Certificate giveaway! 

We’re also happy to announce the three winners in the Minted.com Save the date giveaway!  Here they are:

Holly and Dustin

-  Wedding will be in Seattle, WA (June 2008) at FareStart
- They are having a “west coast garden party” theme at an upscale restaurant called FareStart that is also a nonprofit organization.
- They are both writers and their great, fun personalities came through in Holly’s entry.  Oh, and her name will be “Holly Wood” when she is married.  A quote from Holly: “We are a perky couple from Seattle, lovers of beautiful paper (we’re both soulful writers, after all), and planning a wedding in June.”

Yvonne and Rene

- Wedding will be in Orlando, FL (November 2008) at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne
- Rene’s romantic entry won the gals at Minted over. He wanted to win the contest for Yvonne (To quote him, “I am entering this contest for my beautiful future wife, Yvonne… this would be the ultimate gift for me to be able to give to her.”) .  There was a big “awww…” in the room when they read that one!

Laurice and Alex

- Wedding will be in Baltimore, MD (June 2008) at the Evergreen Museum and Library
- Laurice and Alex have known each other since junior high school, but were ‘re-introduced’ as adults and have since been together for 6 years.  A quote from Laurice: “Alex and I actually went to the same junior high and high schools together…  We grew up less than 15 minutes away from one another and went to the same summer camp, but barely knew one another.”

Minted’s talented designers will now be submitting designs inspired by one of the three winning couple’s stories.  If you’re a designer and are interested in participating, please send an email to: contest at minted.com.

Once all the designer submissions are received, weddingbee readers will vote on their favorites!  I can’t wait to see what they come up with.  Congrats to our three winners! :-)
