Check it…. Mr. CB’s gorgeous wedding ring.
I ubber loves…. The coolest thing about it? The diamonds are small, embedded into the two center rings and not too flashy. The second major bonus, the two center rings individually SPIN! How cool is it? We loved it the second we met, and ordered it upon our 2nd visit way back in August last year.

It’s too bad, we won’t ever see it ever again….
Come October, we got a phone call from the company that the ring had arrived. We weren’t quite pleased with the quality since the rings didn’t flush well with each other although the bonus was, they gave us much larger diamonds, but that made it super flashy. So off it went back to get redone.
Months passed and still no phone call or update. I wasn’t tripping though because my friends had gotten their e-ring and w-ring there and they were gorgeous; the company was trustworthy, not to mention, they had been there since forever.
Then came the new year. I’d been patiently waiting for 3 months since our last visit, so I began to call and check in. Days went by and no one answered. I didn’t worry too much until after maybe my 10th phone call - I’d been too busy to notice. Something didn’t feel right, so I made a quick trip over there on my lunch break to talk to them in person.
When I approached the shop, I saw that the store next to it was boarded up. Well the store was around the bend, no worries. WRONG! The store boarded up was the jeweler. My heart literally sank into the pit of my stomach and probably left my body. I felt like crumbling, this being soon after I had gotten news of Monster Crayon’s dissolve with no resolution.
Maybe they’re remodeling I thought? WRONG again! I spoke to the construction worker there and he told me they lost their lease. Someone was playing a really mean trick on me now… taking my money that is. I started looking into the BBB (I was ready for another battle man!), got the owner’s name, kept calling the store phone leaving messages, and emailing them.
I finally got ahold of the owner, and he reassured me that they were simply remodeling. After being connected to the sister company, since the phone calls were re-routed to its sister company’s corporate office a few times, I asked about the “remodel.” It was a lie.
Long story short, my heart break has since slowly healed: that owner is no longer with the company, the remodel was a lie, we have no ring, but finally after 1.5 months of haggling, I went down to the store, picked up a check and deposited it immediately.
Ring: Back to square one… and I am short on time.
p.s. Reason I didn’t disclose the name of the store - it’s done and over, there’s no point in rehashing it.
